The conversion of a Grade 2 Listed Building previously occupied by the Royal Bank of Scotland to create a new flagship retail store on 3 floors.
The project included extensive demolition works, the stripping out of existing basement bank vaults, new structural steelwork and forming new structural openings in heavily reinforced floors and walls using robotic demolition machinery.
Structural works were followed by a complete fit out of the new store and offices. Works included the provision of new steel timber clad staircases, high quality joinery, stone and oak timber flooring and new mechanical and electrical installations.
Extensive restoration works included reinstatement of listed fibrous plaster ceilings, mouldings and columns and stonework repairs.
